What Happens in Vegas.......

oh wait.... nothing happened in Vegas! ha ha

This trip started for me last Monday night when i got Eden to go with me. Tuesday Trent got our hotel and on Wednesday morning we were off! I made sure to pack my coloring books for the drive and just as a had guessed Andy was jealous. Between taking naps, coloring, some great singing, Elf and more naps, we made it! We went up to Eden and my room because the boys "Jacuzzi suite" wasn't ready for them yet. The boys went gambling while Eden and I went exploring! After buying a deck of cards and an hour later we met back up in the room to head out to the game.
The game. that's all that needs to be said.
After me changing in the car without the boys knowing ha ha, we headed to get food. we went as high priced as we could. I means seriously, go big or go home right? lets just say the drug deal going on as we walked into the taco bell was the icing on the cake! when we were leaving Trent got this funny look on his face and asked me if i wore those sweats to the game. Dan, without missing a beat, told Trent that i had changed in the car. And if that didn't make me laugh, Scott's confused/slightly disgusted face topped it off!
If you didn't already know this, if you aren't 21 there is like NOTHING for you to do in Vegas. So after some watching a little of the gambling channel and reading magazines, Eden and i were off to bed.
At nine Box called to say we were leaving in 15 mins.... GREAT! ha ha we got up, got ready and left. When we were walking out Andy decided that he needed to play a few dollars.... little while later Daniel, Eden and I were waiting by the car when they came out with their winnings. Everyone left Vegas a winner, except poor Trentie.
We defiantly stopped at the outlets by request of Andy. After $50 dollars spent on a pair of shoes and a sweatshirt i left happy! After stopping for food and treats at Trader Joe's, we were off!
This car ride we decided to play games until we realized that it was nap time. If you throw in Home alone one and two that would pretty much wrap up the trip.

It was around this time last year that I started a new collection (within my ever growing collection of shoes). Nike high tops. Greatest thing EVER! I am in love and that's all that really needs to be said. that AND the fact that my awesome uncle does an amazing job of making them even cooler with the way he laces them for me. I ALWAYS get comments on them when I wear them. It was this same uncle that got me hooked on them with my first pair. Since then I have realized that there is only one place to buy them.... the Nike outlet. at any other place you are getting screwed over with the price. the last pair that I got up there was only twenty bucks!

I was so lucky to be invited to go to the SYTYCD tour with the Woodman's! We went to eat at Stella before. I had never been there before but it was VERY tasty and looking at every body's food made me even more hungry! It's so interesting hanging out with a family of girls instead of boys. ha ha its just so much different! not once we talked about sports, it was so refreshing!

We had tickets on to floor! They would have been amazing had everyone in front of us didn't stand up like the whole time. So after the first few minutes Maddie just stood up and walked away to some empty seats. I have learned you don't mess with a pregnant girl, so we all followed. it was much nicer being where we could see. I loved being with them! all the random comments during the dances, Maddie dancing and Karen making fun of Maddie for dancing.

During the half I went down to visit my friends and they had the idea that i should stay with them and meet the dancers after, not that it took a long time to persuade me. So after the show i meet back up with them and we waited about an hour or so out by the tour buses. It was great to catch up with those girls. Then the dancers started to come out....

Halloween

This was the longest Halloween of my LIFE! aka Halloween parties at dance ha ha

All of the younger kids get to dress up their last class before Halloween. we pretty much turn on Halloween music and play games, make up dances and have "fun" (its really only fun for the kids). my first day of teaching wasn't too bad because it was only one 30 minute class in the middle of all the rest of them. that day i dressed up as a butterfly. on Wednesday I dressed up like a baby and on Friday i dressed up as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, easy costume! i had everything on hand so it worked out well, all i had to do was find a good way to curl my hair and have it stay for more than 30 minutes. i decided to do the same thing on Saturday too because i was only there for 45 minutes ha ha

I was really lame this year and didn't do anything for Halloween except go to spoon me with Megan and get the creamy pumpkin flavor, watch the Utah game with my favorite family, do Alex and Brittany's make up and watch Brody hand out our candy.

this time is because of fun.
my most favorite band right now. and because i love them so much i was extremely lucky to start liking them at the perfect time.
on Saturday i went to their concert with my best friend Hannah.
can you say best concert i have been to??
besides getting stranded after the concert (because we missed the last trax train) it was an awesome night! including the time it got quite and Hannah and i yelled "marry me Andrew!" and he pointed to us. ahhhhh!!!! i am crazy about them! and Nate's voice is one of my favorite things right now.... to say the least i have a big crush on him. He started off in the format but then started fun. and i couldn't be more happy about it.

So it has been said that I don't take care of iPod's, seeing as how i am on my seventh one already, but in all honesty i use them so much i don't think it is strange that i have had so many (two of those were not really mine too...).

my first one, an AWESOME shuffle that got used a ton, went through the washer. then you could count me using Mark's iPod until it decided to just die. Next would be my green nano that i used for many years and it just slowly started to die but still, to this day, can be used but my amazing parents got me a new silver nano for my birthday. during the time of me using that iPod i bought a different nano off of my friend which was lost after a while and once Trent left i just slowly took over his iPod. which i had every intention of giving it back to him when he got home, but only a few months before he was to come home it was stepped on. consider the screen shattered. it would still play music but you couldn't see anything. and me being the wonderful nice sister that i am, i put money into Trent getting a new one.

I loved my dearest silver nano until a few weeks ago. Me and that baby went through a few things together. so I'm just walking out of a meeting for dance talking with my aunt and it slips out of my hand. normally i would just pick it up no big deal but i just knew something was wrong and i was right. the screen had shatter. i almost started to cry right then and there. for most people this would suck but it wouldn't be too big of a deal, but for me this was life changing. music is my life! i always have it playing. always. and not only that, its my job! i was freaking out! i had about 4 hours maybe until i had to teach and the iPod was done. i ran down to gateway to the apple store and the guy said that they could fix it for 100 bucks. LAME! and it couldn't even be done right then. i was stressing and i will admit i wasn't being totally pleasant. so i snapped back at the guy and said that that wouldn't fly with me and if i was going to shell at that much money for it i might as well get a new one. being the GREAT employee he was he offered that i could turn it in and for 30 dollars more i could get the NEW nano. * OOo's and awe's* psych! if i am going to get a new iPod its gotta be more than 8GB.

I left still pretty pissed and went to go buy one at a cheaper place. Sam's Club... all out! Costco had one!!! i almost cried out in joy (i know i am lame)! after having a problem, they gave me the wrong one so we had to go back and get the right one, i was at home putting music on it just in time to teach dance.

i couldn't love this iPod more! its the newest iPod touch (i figured 32GB was enough). it has face time (which would be WAY cool if i knew anyone that had it too ha ha) and all the other awesome apps! plus its really nice not having to switch out music when i wanted to put something on it. AND miss Julie LOVES to play angry birds (or as she likes to call it "dirty birds" ha ha) and Trent wasn't a big fan of her taking his.

now that you can see i am a HUGE nerd when it comes to music, i am a SUCKER for new music. my wonderful jazz teacher is always playing new tunes for us. so its only natural for me to listen to them. i also have a bunch of friends who listen to all sorts of different stuff and are about as big of freaks as me, so we share stuff all the time! and i can't help but mention one of my favorite apps.... PANDORA RADIO!!!!!!!!! it gets me SO many songs! :)

Travis is my hero! so Monday on facebook i just write something to the effect of how i wish i had a stereo in the JEEP. Travis, being the awesome person he is, says you get it i will put it in. well i thought we had one so Travis said he would come over later to put it in! i was SO excited! not only do i get to hang out with one of the coolest families EVER.... but i also get music in the JEEP!!! because it is NOT just some form of transportation... ha ha come to find out... we didn't have a stereo so marky mark decides to go get one... BLESS HIS HEART!!! <3 while me and Travis (aka Travis) switch out the speakers in the front. they come back and Travis finishes up. continuing his awesomeness... we decided to put the sub in too :D once installed the wire brokey :( Travis did a quick fix and then we were off for a cruise! the JEEP is SO sexy!!! watch out boys ;) too bad the next morning the sub went out again. ha ha

i have seen it three times and i cant wait to see it again. i thought i was going to be upset at it the whole time but the only bad part about it was i sat next to Alex the first time and then i had to explain it to my date the next time :( but i love it and Edward! i know that Phil thinks I'm lame and that he could beat up Edward and that he is gay but i have news for you, he is a vampire and he wins!!!! (OK i know he is fake so really Phil, you win :( )

so last night Andrea was talking to me and decided to bring up twilight the movie. so i tried watching one of the trailers and i just got mad at myself for watching it.

when i heard they were making a movie i said i wasn't going to watch it because it would never be the same as the book. plus they would not get it right.

now i am just mad because no one looks the way i think they should look except for Alice and Emmet. but they still look weird. but it has made me want to reread the series before august 2.

and i will end up watching the movie but i will be mad the whole time is what I'm guessing.

so its like 4 in the afternoon and i have nothing to do so I'm posting

here is the low down on our dinner last night.

consisted of:

shark fish
mushroom soup
fried chicken
lobster (that kept looking at me)
some shell fish and noddles ( that i ate... i know hard to believe. OK i didn't eat the fish, my dad did, but i ate the noodles)
octopus soup
some desert rolls ( kind of tasted like snickers bars)
flying space ships (kind of like a sweet Peta bread)
deep fried pork (Mandy's way of describing it was like chick filla)
cucumber juice
hot corn juice
beef (kind of a spicy flavor)
tapioca pudding (at least that's what my dad told me it was)
more stuff that i cant remember

did i mention that this was a 3 store restaurant that when you walk in you go to the giant fish tanks and pick out what you want to eat... i wish i would have brought my camera to take pictures of it.

I'm here in Fuzhou china. its been great and hot and its only my second day.

here is the break down on my trip
started Sunday morning in Utah at like 7 am
took a plane to San fan and a lay over for about 2 hours
got on this giant plane to b*********. which was ,well i would say, like 14 hours
got off and had to find our way around an airport that we didn't know where we were going for about 2 hours
our flight was delayed for about30 mins (well what we thought)
we got on our plane and sat for another 2 hours on the ground at our gate. i guess you cant fly in heavy fog...
after that i think it was a 2 hour flight to Fuzhou. I'm not really sure cuz i just slept the whole time :)
at the air port i decided i needed to use a real toilet before i had to pee in a hole on the ground, so i walked into the bathroom and all the stalls were open. so i walked up to the first stall and pushed the door to open all the way, i guess i didn't see the lady chillin on the toilet and she got mad at me. so i went to the next stall and the same thing happened again. i almost gave up and would have peed in the hole but then i thought, what if the same thing happened with the holes. it would have been worse so i gave it one more try and it all worked out fine. (can i just add that everyone looked at me funny too cuz I'm like a good foot taller then everyone, including the guys)
so i didn't know that people were picking us up at the airport(plus when you walk out of the air port its like a red carpet everyone wants you to ride with them it was crazy) so braid and sunny picked us up and we went to our hotel which is very nice and is called shangri-La. i almost cried cuz the bed was so nice, plus it wasn't on an air plane. (can i also just say that during this whole time my dads ankles were swollen and big and he limped the whole time and i just kept laughing at him)

sunny and barid picked us up in the morning to take us to the factory. Joe is our driver (his name really isn't Joe its just a name my dad gave him cuz he doesn't know his real name)

the factory was so warm and i got so tired and we were there for like ever... :( i didn't like it.

we went to lunch at some crazy place and i asked for the bathroom and almost forgot that it was a whole in the ground so i just washed my hands and didn't use it, hoping we would go back to the hotel after. i ate these dumplings that were kind of like pot stickers/egg rolls, chicken soup (when i say chicken i mean the whole chicken was in it and almost looking at me...), beef (that's all sunny said it was but it was like chucks of beef and onions and other things that i have no clue what it was), and a coke. sunny was sitting next to me chowing down on some good old chicken feet but i didn't want to try them. oh and they also think its funny how i don't like sea food.

after lunch they went to the air port to pick up Chris, Mandy, and some other special dudes. i went back the the hotel and had a nap. they came back at like 7 and picked me up for dinner.

dinner almost needs a whole other post, so i think i will cuz this one is way too long as it is.

( side note... i wrote this whole post and then our Internet went out and this is all that saved...)

after dinner we came back to the hotel and slept. woke up the next morning at 8:15 and went to breakfast which was really good cuz it was American food. :) i had pancakes, bacon, fried eggs, toast, and two really good pastries. i tried eating as much as i could so i would be ready for the food they would throw at me today.

then the boys went to work and us girls went shopping and site seeing. we came back and I'm here now... so there is a little update that is mostly for my mom.

yesterday was dress rehearsal all day at Kingsberry hall and party at my house
today i have another dress rehearsal at 2:30 then preform at 7 then go out to eat with all my dance friends at the pie
tomorrow performance at 7
Thursday performance at 7 , maybe hang out with Travis :), go to late night breakfast with girls from dance, help with youth conference at 8
Friday drive down to snow collage for youth conference
Saturday drive back from snow and get packing
Sunday head to the air port for the biggest adventure i have yet to go on
Monday-Sunday big adventure with Mandy my dad and Chris and some other guys form my dads work (i think)

some time in this day i have to fix my costume (rug) sew my pointe shoes,
clean my room (most likely not going to happen), and so much more...

i have been kind of bad with this whole blog thing lately but i can say i have a good reason.

i can also say this week has been the worst week of my life. i wont go through it day by day but some major events, and I'm not just trying to make you feel bad for me.

the passing of my grandpa
getting lunch detentions
getting sick :( never fun
telling my drill coach that i quit then having her tell me just to think about it some more
telling her again that i quit and that I'm happier not doing it
telling Christy that i quit but then taking it back because i love my studio
district dance concert (which makes me miss my grandpas viewing)
missing dance party where they announce officers (which i tried out for) for my grandpas funeral
cardinals lost
jazz lost
and a lot more things

i guess you can kind of get an idea.

i cant wait for like 13 more days because i can just leave all of this behind me when i go to new york.

p.s. another great thing about may 22 is that the best show on earth starts up... any guesses?

sorry its been so long, i have been a little stressed lately. and I'm only half way through it. :( i made drill but have to wait till 2 on Monday to find out about dance company. then next week is tech week which is the worst part about dancing besides try outs. everyone who can should come to my concert it is April 30 and may 1. all 5 of you that read my blog... :) i also need help. i need to choose between drill and dance company. any suggestions?

I'm so sick of school and its only been like 2 weeks! I'm in the play, thoroughly modern Millie, and its so fun. i have got so many more friends it rocks! ha ha i got asked to homecoming and its a shame that my dad will be out of town so he cant interview my date. ha ha i cant wait. my first school dance. i just got my dress and i still haven't answered him yet. I'm waiting till my mom gets home from the store with my suckers! :D i really don't hate school. i love it! i have such easy classes it rocks! well my mom is back with the suckers and i have to go. but much love... catch ya on the flip side.
